CLASS DISMISSED!

In the Philippines, 9 out of 10 children struggle to read simple texts by age 10. (World Bank, 2022).

For children in public schools and working-class families, the gap is even wider, not because they lack potential, but because the system denies them the resources they deserve.

At Class Dismissed, we believe that every child deserves the tools to read and write. Too often, potential is wasted not because children lack ability, but because the system withholds resources from them. Our afterschool nonprofit tutoring initiatives create a safe and empowering space where students can strengthen their literacy skills while discovering the power of their own voices.

We promote class-conscious, socially aware learning that advocates for equity.

Our sessions include:

  • Student-tailored tutoring utilizing free placement tests.
  • Reading Circles where stories spark age-appropriate conversations about fairness and community.
  • Collaborative Learning that reminds us knowledge is best built collectively.

We don't just prepare students for tests. We prepare them for life, equipped with the ability to read the word and the world.

Because education is not a privilege for the few.

It is the power of the many.
